Delete Your CarBuilds Account

You can request the deletion of your CarBuilds account and associated data at any time.

How to request account deletion

1. Go to your profile settings
2. Navigate to the Danger Zone tab
3. Select Delete Account
4. Confirm your request via the verification email sent to your registered email address

What happens after you request deletion

• Your account will be scheduled for deletion 60 minutes after confirmation
• During this period, you may cancel the request by contacting support
• After the deletion process begins, it cannot be reversed

What data will be deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your user profile and account information
• All projects (builds) you created
• Uploaded images and media
• Timeline events, alerts, expenses, and parts
• Comments and interactions associated with your account

Data retention (limited cases)

Some limited data may be retained temporarily where required for:

• Legal compliance
• Fraud prevention and security
• System integrity and abuse prevention

Such data is retained only for the minimum period necessary and is not publicly visible.

Deletion timeline

• Account removal is initiated within 60 minutes after confirmation
• Associated data (including media) is fully removed within up to 6 hours
